Alingwa Quincy Ngeniwe was born on January 29th, 1988, in Bamenda-Mezam, Cameroon, to a loving family. Her mother, Alingwa Christina Fri, was a dedicated teacher, while her father, Alingwa Joseph Tangwe, served in the military. Both parents are from the Bambili village in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. Growing up in a family with such diverse professional backgrounds, Quincy was instilled with a deep sense of discipline, responsibility, and the value of education.
As the first-born of three siblings, Quincy was raised in an environment that emphasized hard work, resilience, and perseverance. From a young age, she displayed strong leadership qualities, serving as the band conductor at her school when she was just 8 years old—a role that would shape her leadership journey in the years to come.
She pursued her education with passion and dedication, eventually becoming a trained teacher. Throughout her career, Quincy has remained committed to the growth and development of her students, creating an environment that encourages learning and self-discovery.
In *February 2009*, she married her life partner, and together they have been blessed with *four children*. Her role as a mother has deeply influenced her personal and professional life, guiding her to balance the demands of family and career with grace and passion.
Quincy’s professional journey extends beyond teaching; she is a strong *advocate for health promotion* and *cancer prevention*. With her background in *epidemiology*, she has dedicated her career to improving health outcomes and raising awareness about cancer prevention. Her work focuses on empowering communities through education and promoting healthy lifestyle choices that can reduce the risk of cancer.
Outside her professional and family commitments, Quincy enjoys several hobbies, including *reading*, which fuels her continuous learning and personal growth. She also enjoys *driving*, *music*, and *dancing*, which serve as outlets for relaxation and creative expression.
Through her unwavering dedication to education, public health, and her family, *Alingwa Quincy Ngeniwe* continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her. She is an inspiring individual whose leadership, passion for health promotion, and commitment to her community set an example for others to follow.
My values…I grew up with a profound understanding that health and education are wealth. Working with cancer patients through their pain and uncertainties has shown me the incredible strength, resilience, and hope that reside within the human spirit. I also find teaching a soothing activity. Imparting knowledge to fellow humans gives me satisfaction.

● Taught over 40 students in Biology and Chemistry using diverse teaching methods, including debate style, group discussions, and lively plays, facilitating their understanding of the subjects.
● Assessed and monitored students’ progress, actively listening and addressing their learning challenges in time.
● Administered end-of-semester and end-of-year exams and marked and graded students on merit.
● Prepared accurate monthly learning progress reports and submitted them to management for decision-making.
● Prepare engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and individualized interventions for children with learning disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, and improve their learning progress by 15%.
● Analysed pupils/students’ results and revealed performance trends to make informed decisions.
● Researched innovative, evidence-based strategies and technologies to meet the needs of children with learning disabilities.
● Worked with other educators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and parents.
● Emotionally supported and promoted an inclusive learning environment for all children.
● Facilitated capacity-building and refresher training for 30+ teachers, school administrators, and parents on using technologies to enhance the development of children with disabilities.
● Collected and entered accurate and quality anthropometric data such as cancer patients’ height, weight, and body mass index to assess nutritional status.
● Mentored and coached patients and their families on appropriate nutrition and dietary modifications and improved their well-being during treatment.
● Collected, Analyzed, and interpreted quantitative data on assessing nutritional care in cancer patients.
● Derived strategies to improve patient health outcomes and prepared and submitted reports.
